From one of the biggest department of defense contractor’s, this was a message that was sent out to its employees. This company has lost its leadership. This is freaky…. read their notice:

Space 2022 PRIDE Leadership Forum Self-Nomination

Employees receiving this email are invited to submit an online request through this link to attend the PRIDE LGBTQIA+ Professional Network Leadership Forum (June 8-9). Please note that Level 7s are now required to self-nominate if you would like to attend, but manager approval is not needed. If you are a Level 8, please disregard this message as you will automatically receive an invite for registration.

**IMPORTANT, self-nomination requests for the PRIDE Leadership Forum will be considered on a first-come, first-served basis. The order will be based on the submittal time of the initial Attendance Request Form, which does not include manager approval time. Please submit your self-nomination form ASAP if you are interested in attending this event.

Leadership forums are internal corporate-sponsored conferences offering professional development, networking opportunities, engagement with top leadership, and exposure to Lockheed Martin strategic focuses. Each of the Business Resource Group (BRG) communities hosts an annual National Leadership Forum. Here is a link to more details on the communities. The new streamlined self-nomination process enables Space employees to express interest in attending Leadership Forums through an online Attendance Request Form using Service Central.
A separate Attendance Request Form must be submitted for each National Leadership Forum you wish to attend. Once you have submitted an Attendance Request Form, it will be routed to your manager for approval. Manager approval does not guarantee you will receive an invitation; however, it does allow your attendance to be further reviewed by Space Global Diversity & Inclusion (GD&I) as prioritization and funding are considered. Managers and employees are no longer required to seek funding approval. Should your attendance be approved, and you receive a National Leadership Forum invitation, please register as soon as possible as space is limited. Once the Forum has reached capacity, prioritized employees will be placed on a waitlist and notified if additional spots open.
The deadline to submit your Attendance Request Form for the PRIDE Leadership Forum is Friday, April 29. The deadline for managers to approve attendance is Thursday, May 5th . Employees requesting attendance are encouraged to notify their leaders to ensure their request can be reviewed and approved by the deadline.
Thank you for your support of the BRG communities.

*This email was sent to employees eligible for self-nomination for 2022 National Leadership Forums (leaders (L3 – L7), ICs (levels 6 – 7), BRG leadership and members, Allies for Inclusion, Corporate BRG Leadership Council members, Leadership Forum Planning Committee members, and Leadership Development Program participants). Please reach out to Space GD&I at diversity.fc-ssc@lmco.com if you have questions.
