The total of opportunities to intervene with the shooter has now grown to four (4) times. This means that the Broward County police, the FBI, Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School officials and even the students had the chance to put the stop to this tragedy even before the gun was grabbed.
Now we are learning that a police officer in uniform and armed was at the school, BUT never went in to address the threat. This officer has re-signed from the Broward County police as of Thursday Feb 23rd.
**** A report has just come out that NOT JUST 1 Broward County Deputy, but 4 Broward County Deputies were outside. ****
CNN reports that the Coral Springs police officers claim three other Broward County deputies were outside the school but failed to go inside as well. They quote “Coral Springs sources” who said the three “deputies had their pistols drawn and were behind their vehicles” when Coral Springs officers arrived. They said “not one of [the deputies] had gone into the school.”
This is all pointing to the fact the “government” failed.
One, the Broward Sheriff’s deputies were called to Nikolas Cruz’s family home on 39 occasions since 2010 for calls that included everything from mentally ill person to domestic disturbance.
Second, while the killer was in High school, he had issues that lead to disciplinary actions out of school to expulsion. Broward County School Superintendent Robert Runcie said the suspect was a former student of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School and was currently enrolled in Broward County schools.
Third, the FBI had a tip about exactly becoming or being the next School shooter. This was called in by a Youtube user that had the user name and comment that said so.
And in actuality, many of the students of the school also had the feeling that this was probable as well. After interacting with the killer in school and online Facebook pictures/comments, during the shooting named him as a person of interest.
So, why did this even come to this senseless tragedy? It all points to government failure, on many levels.
1) Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School officials (counselors, principle, teachers, security)
2) Broward county sheriff’s office (Broward Sheriff Scott Israel)
3) Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI)

So the City, part of the State, and Federal jurisdictions ALL FAILED. PERIOD.
MANY signs were there, and this could have been stopped. So instead of blaming the gun, maybe you should be PISSED that your government FAILED. At many of these signs, these weapons could have been taken from him to prevent this from happening, if they all did their part.
