If you use TikTok, then China owns all of your data. That’s a scary thought. Recently, from Joe Rogan and his podcast the Joe Rogan experience, he pointed out that China owns TikTok. He went on to explain that he looked at the TikTok terms of service and found that there was some disturbing information showing that it collects a lot of information. This is something the American people and people who use TikTok should be aware of if they are using this application.
From Louder with Crowder:
“‘We collect certain information about the device you use to access the platform, such as your IP address, user region […] user agent, mobile carrier, time zone settings, identifiers for advertising purpose, model of your device, the device system, network type, device IDs, your screen resolution and operating system, app and file names and types.”
Rogan said that TikTok is able to glean information about “‘battery state, audio settings, and connected audio devices, where you log in from multiple devices.’”
“Meaning they can use other computers that you’re not even using to log into TikTok. They can suck the data off that. That’s what you’re agreeing to when you download and start using TikTok,” he said.
Long story short? If it’s on your phone, Communist China has access to it.
From a computer expert, once you allow TikTok to access this information. They will also have access to everything else that you touch or run on your network. Tik Tok captures all the keystrokes for every device. Other computers, iPads, anything that connects to your network can be scanned. That is the scary part about this!
Funny how Donald Trump warned of the Communist Chinese-owned TikTok, he was told it was because he was scared the teenagers who use TikTok were going to vote him out of office. Two years later, this has been affirmed by the current administration occupying the White House.
