Now the news has reported that the Senator from Arizona, John McCain has been diagnosed with a brain tumor. It’s only FAIR that we implement the health care panel to determine his treatment. I mean the worth factor given his age (80 years), his percent chance of survival rate (55 yrs old or older at 4%), and his value added to the society (30%), I think the equation is clear.
According to the American Brain Tumor Association, more than 12,000 people a year are diagnosed with glioblastoma, the same type of tumor that struck McCain’s close Democratic colleague in legislative battles, the late Ted Kennedy of Massachusetts. The American Cancer Society puts the five-year survival rate for patients over 55 at about 4 percent.
Well, maybe we should hold a congressional hearing to talk about the treatments that might make sense. Bring in some experts to give testimony for the “BEST” option available.
Arizona, start the procedures for a new Senator to be picked!
Being that he is a supposed “Republican” and “holds those core values” of the party. (HA)
I am in support of McCain. My “friend”.
