It has been reported that President Trump has tweeted that the Trump Tower was wire tapped, effectively a Watergate #2! The screen shots are from early morning Saturday March 4th. There seems to be a pattern going on with the reporting of leeks, us intelligence and even from the former US President’s administration. From the UK Daily News:
Towergate: Donald Trump accuses ‘sick’ Barack Obama of ‘Nixon/Watergate’ scandal for wire-tapping his phones at Trump Tower before the election.
Trump has accused Obama of wire-tapping his phones at Trump Tower on Twitter
The president tweeted that Obama had been spying on him in October
He claims the phones in Trump Tower were ‘tapped’ before his election victory
AND
The president did not provide any additional evidence to back up his claims. Obama has not responded to the accusations.
Here’s the thing, the President has access to all sorts of intelligence sources and information, so the UK Daily Mail has the nerve to call this “accusations”. This is more in lines as FACTS.
This is more PROOF that there is truth AGAIN in what President Donald Trump says that the Washington DC swamp needs to be drained.
So let’s talk about the timeline of the leeks of information.
More proof also came last week from the reporting of a Breitbart news story about LEEKS in the intelligence services. Jeff Sessions was accused of meeting with Russian diplomats during the elections. He was asked in his Congressional hearing to become the US Attorney General of the United States if he had contact with Russians about Trump’s new administration. But, this question had underpinnings of knowing what was said, hence a wiretapping accusation.
Trump also linked Obama to Attorney General Jeff Sessions’s meetings last year with Russia’s US ambassador, Sergey Kislyak.
‘The first meeting Jeff Sessions had with the Russian Amb was set up by the Obama Administration under education program for 100 Ambs,’ he tweeted
Radio host Mark Levin laid out a more sinister plan on his show which was reported by Breitbart News:
Radio host Mark Levin used his Thursday evening show to outline the known steps taken by President Barack Obama’s administration in its last months to undermine Donald Trump’s presidential campaign and, later, his new administration.
The following is a short version of what Mark Levin laid out, including events that Levin did not mention specifically but are important to the overall timeline.
1. June 2016: FISA request.
2. July: Russia joke
3. October: Podesta emails.
4. October: FISA request.
5. January 2017: Buzzfeed/CNN dossier.
6. January: Obama expands NSA sharing
7. January: Times report
8. February: Mike Flynn scandal
9. February: Times claims extensive Russian contacts.
10. March: the Washington Post targets Jeff Sessions.
The expanded version of this list is here.
In summary: the Obama administration sought, and eventually obtained, authorization to eavesdrop on the Trump campaign; continued monitoring the Trump team even when no evidence of wrongdoing was found; then relaxed the NSA rules to allow evidence to be shared widely within the government, virtually ensuring that the information, including the conversations of private citizens, would be leaked to the media.
Levin called the effort a “silent coup” by the Obama administration and demanded that it be investigated.
In addition, Levin castigated Republicans in Congress for focusing their attention on Trump and Attorney General Sessions rather than Obama.
Here is some important information on the conspiracy definition from the Cornell University Law School.
18 U.S. Code § 2384 – Seditious conspiracy
“If two or more persons in any State or Territory, or in any place subject to the jurisdiction of the United States, conspire to overthrow, put down, or to destroy by force the Government of the United States, or to levy war against them, or to oppose by force the authority thereof, or by force to prevent, hinder, or delay the execution of any law of the United States, or by force to seize, take, or possess any property of the United States contrary to the authority thereof, they shall each be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than twenty years, or both.

Ian Fleming has a good quote:
“Once is happenstance. Twice is coincidence. Three times is enemy action”
